Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time Secretary to join our team at Prudential Financial in Vancouver, British Columbia, CA. This is an entry-level position with no years of experience required. The ideal candidate will be driven and hardworking, with strong emotional intelligence and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office - Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages - Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff - Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports - Develop and maintain a filing system - Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers - Maintain contact lists - Provide general support to visitors - Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients - Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers - Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to prioritize and multitask - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Strong organizational and planning skills - Deadline-oriented - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Proven work experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant is a plus
