Job Description - Customer Support Officer - Remote Work

Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Customer Support Officer to join our team at Simon Fraser University. This is a remote work position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As an Associate-level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer support or a related field.


Responsibilities: - Providing exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat - Resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner - Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions - Collaborating with other team members to address complex customer cases - Conducting research to provide accurate and effective solutions to customer problems - Assisting with strategic planning for improving customer satisfaction - Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proven experience in customer support or a similar role - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer support software - Resilient attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Strategic planning and research skills - Resourceful and adaptable approach to customer support
