Job Description:
Assurant is seeking a skilled Live Chat Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As a mid-to-senior level position with a requirement of at least 6 years of experience in customer service or related field, the Live Chat Manager will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our live chat platform to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the live chat platform, ensuring smooth and efficient communication with customers. - Develop strategies to improve response times, accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction through the chat channel. - Train and supervise a team of live chat agents, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure performance goals are met. - Monitor chat interactions and analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and sales, to align live chat efforts with overall business objectives. - Stay updated on industry best practices and technology advancements to implement innovative solutions and optimize performance.
Requirements: - 6+ years of experience in customer service or a related field, with a proven track record of managing live chat platforms. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and engage with customers. - Independent and confident personality traits, with the ability to make decisions and lead a team effectively. - Emotional intelligence and persuasion skills to handle challenging situations and drive positive outcomes. - Proficiency in live chat software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or a related field preferred.
