Job Description - Call Center Assistant


Job Description:


American Family Insurance Group is seeking a motivated and energetic Call Center Assistant to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be independent, possess strong people management skills, and have a keen attention to detail.


Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls and provide assistance to customers regarding insurance policies and claims - Make outgoing calls to follow up with customers about their inquiries and provide additional information as needed - Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in the company database - Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, processing paperwork, and updating customer information - Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service and support


Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in a call center or customer service role - Energetic personality with the ability to work independently and handle challenging situations - Strong people management skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues - Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software
