Job Description - Call Center Manager

Job Description:


Avnet is seeking a part-time Call Center Manager to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As a Call Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our call center, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficiency. This position is at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of call center representatives, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve call center performance, including increasing sales and reducing call wait times. 3. Monitor call center metrics and KPIs to ensure that goals are being met. 4. Handle escalated customer calls and resolve complex issues efficiently. 5. Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure seamless communication and workflow. 6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in call center management.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a call center management role. 2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 3. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. 4. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Reliable and able to work flexible hours as needed. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and call center software. 7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
