Call Center Officer

Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and independent Call Center Officer to join our team at J.M. Smucker in Montreal, Quebec. As a part-time Associate Level employee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Assist customers with inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring a positive resolution. 3. Utilize emotional intelligence to understand and empathize with customers' needs and concerns. 4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained. 5. Collaborate with team members to improve call center processes and customer satisfaction. 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Adhere to call center scripts and procedures to maintain consistency and quality service.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role. 3. Strong emotional intelligence and ability to manage projects effectively. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Familiarity with call center software and CRM systems. 7. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes. 8. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred but not required. 9. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
