Job Description - Call Center Officer

Job Description:


As a Call Center Officer at Philip Morris International in Vancouver, British Columbia, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls from customers and providing high-quality customer service. This part-time entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated and resilient, with strong critical thinking skills and emotional intelligence.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries 2. Make outbound calls to follow up on customer issues and provide assistance 3. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions 4. Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members 5. Provide information to customers about products and services 6. Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions 7. Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets 8. Collaborate with other team members to improve overall customer satisfaction 9. Utilize company systems and tools to effectively manage customer relationships 10. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times


Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 3. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills 4. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure 5. Emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with customers 6. Proficiency in using computers and customer service software 7. High school diploma or equivalent required
