Chat Support Assistant

Job Description:

Tech Data is seeking a part-time Chat Support Assistant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate Level position, the Chat Support Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to our clients through online chat. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess the personality traits of being adaptable and passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues through online chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions to customers. 3. Proactively identify trends in customer inquiries and collaborate with the team to improve processes. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.

Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in customer service or technical support. 2. Ability to adapt to different customer communication styles. 3. Passion for helping others and solving problems. 4. Strong critical thinking and research skills. 5. Excellent written communication skills. 6. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
