Job Description - Chat Support Assistant


Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Chat Support Assistant to join our team at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a part-time entry-level position, this role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role.


Responsibilities: - Provide chat support to customers and agents via online messaging platforms - Answer inquiries, resolve customer issues, and provide information on insurance products and services - Maintain a professional and friendly tone in all interactions - Communicate effectively and clearly with customers to ensure their needs are met - Document all interactions accurately and in a timely manner - Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless customer experience - Stay up-to-date on insurance products, policies, and procedures - Adhere to company guidelines and standards for customer service


Requirements: - Motivated individual with a strong work ethic - Excellent presentation skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in all work - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in using computer systems and online messaging platforms - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - High school diploma or equivalent - Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
