Job Description - Chat Support Associate

Job Description:


As a Chat Support Associate at FreshBooks, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service through online chat support. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their accounting software, answering queries, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing guidance on product features. Your role will involve assisting users in real-time, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any issues efficiently.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via chat - Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams - Educate customers on product features and best practices - Document and track customer interactions and resolutions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience - Stay up-to-date on product developments and industry trends - Meet or exceed performance metrics and KPIs


Requirements: - 2 years of experience in customer service or technical support - Adaptability to handle a variety of customer inquiries - Confidence in problem-solving and troubleshooting - Strong project management skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
