Chat Support Associate

Job Description:

ABM Industries is currently seeking a part-time Chat Support Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate will be independent and hardworking, with strong people management skills and creativity.

Responsibilities: - Provide customer support via chat, resolving inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner - Assist customers with product information, troubleshooting, and order processing - Utilize chat support software to efficiently handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously - Collaborate with other team members to escalate complex issues and provide seamless customer service - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up as needed - Meet or exceed performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rate - Continuously strive to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field - Excellent written communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and spelling - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency with chat support software and basic computer skills - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team - Demonstrated creativity in finding solutions to customer inquiries - Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing requirements
