Chat Support Associate

Job Description:

Rio Tinto is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Chat Support Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a Chat Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat platforms. This position is part-time and at the Associate level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide support in a timely and professional manner through chat. 2. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers. 3. Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Collaborate with team members to improve customer experience and satisfaction. 6. Stay up-to-date on company products and services to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in a customer service or support role. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently. 4. Persuasion skills to effectively communicate solutions to customers. 5. Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 6. Reliable and able to work independently.
