Job Description - Chat Support Manager

Job Description: AmerisourceBergen is seeking a talented and experienced Chat Support Manager to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As the Chat Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the chat support team, handling all customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This role requires a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team to success.


Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the chat support team, ensuring that customer inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently - Develop and implement chat support strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention - Monitor chat support metrics and KPIs to ensure high performance and quality service - Provide training and support to chat support agents, helping them to improve their skills and performance - Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and provide solutions - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support - Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - 7+ years of experience in customer service, with at least 3 years in a managerial role - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Resilient and passionate about providing top-notch customer service - Ability to research and analyze data to improve chat support processes - Experience in project management and implementing new initiatives - Proficiency in chat support tools and systems
