Job Description:
New York Life Insurance is seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Chat Support Manager to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This part-time position requires a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 7 years of experience in customer service or related field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of remote chat support specialists to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction. 2. Monitor chat interactions to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to team members. 3. Develop and implement new strategies to increase efficiency and productivity within the chat support department. 4. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner. 5. Conduct regular training sessions for chat support specialists to enhance their skills and knowledge. 6. Create reports and analyze data to track performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to ensure the chat support team remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Strong organizational and time management skills. 5. Adaptability and creativity in problem-solving. 6. Previous experience in a customer service or chat support role. 7. Proficiency in chat support software and Microsoft Office Suite.
