Remote Chat Support Officer

Job description: Sonic Automotive is seeking a dedicated and resilient Remote Chat Support Officer to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Remote Chat Support Officer will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through chat support channels.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through online chat to provide support and assistance with inquiries and issues. 2. Resolve customer complaints and escalations in a professional and timely manner. 3. Utilize innovative solutions to address customer needs and improve overall customer satisfaction. 4. Collaborate with team members and management to ensure consistent support strategies. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Assist in training new team members on chat support best practices. 8. Manage multiple chat sessions simultaneously to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. 3. Dedication to providing exceptional customer service. 4. Resilience in handling challenging customer situations. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Proficiency in using chat support software and other relevant technology. 8. Soft skills in innovation and people management. 9. Eligibility to work in Canada.
