Job Description:
AIG is currently seeking a dedicated and resourceful Chat Support Officer to join our team on a part-time basis and work from home in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As an Associate Level employee with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through chat communications.
Responsibilities: - Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner through chat support - Providing accurate and detailed information about products, services, and policies to customers - Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate department for resolution - Documenting customer interactions and maintaining accurate records of all chat conversations - Collaborating with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality support to customers - Continuously learning and staying up to date with product knowledge and company policies - Adhering to company guidelines and maintaining confidentiality of customer information
Requirements: - At least 4 years of experience in a customer service or support role, with a focus on chat communications - Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with customers in a chat environment - Strong planning and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines - Proficiency in using chat support software and other communication tools - Dedicated and resourceful mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service - Flexibility to work part-time hours and occasional overtime as needed
