Chat Support Representative

Job Description:

Export Development Canada is currently seeking a part-time Chat Support Representative to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Associate level position, we are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. 2. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional manner, escalating when necessary. 3. Proactively engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend solutions to increase customer retention. 4. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries that require additional support. 5. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Stay up-to-date on product and service offerings to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Assist with other customer service duties as needed.

Requirements: 1. Hardworking and passionate about providing excellent customer service. 2. Strong negotiation and planning skills. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 5. Proficiency in using chat support software and CRM systems. 6. High school diploma or equivalent. 7. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
