Job Description:
Starwood Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Contact Center Assistant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As an Associate Level position, the Contact Center Assistant will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our guests and supporting the overall operations of our contact center.
Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. 2. Assist guests with reservations, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. 3. Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within established guidelines. 4. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate information about our hotel rooms, services, and amenities. 5. Process payments, refunds, and credits accurately and in a timely manner. 6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and consistency in service delivery. 7. Support the contact center supervisors with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, reporting, and data entry.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality industry role. 2. Confident and resourceful personality traits, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and handle difficult customers with professionalism. 3. Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. 4. Innovative mindset to suggest new ideas and improvements to enhance the customer experience. 5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with reservation systems is preferred.
