Job Description:
Newmont Mining is seeking a motivated and confident individual to join our team as a Contact Center Assistant. This position is a work-from-home opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario, CA. This is a part-time position with entry-level seniority and requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities: - Manage and respond to customer inquiries through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and live chat - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner - Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and efficient communication with customers - Utilize project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Demonstrate strong people management skills when interacting with colleagues and customers - Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a high level of professionalism
Requirements: - Must be motivated and confident in a customer-facing role - Strong project management skills to juggle multiple tasks effectively - Excellent people management skills to work well with team members and customers - Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
