Job Description - Contact Center Associate

Job Description:


Sun Life is seeking a driven and hardworking Contact Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are looking to gain experience in the financial services industry.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound calls from clients regarding their insurance policies, claims, and other inquiries. 2. Provide excellent customer service by resolving issues efficiently and effectively. 3. Input accurate data into the system and maintain client records. 4. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow. 5. Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to call volume, quality, and customer satisfaction. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to clients. 7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and escalate any issues to management.


Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role preferred. 2. Possess strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence to handle challenging situations. 3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 6. Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required.
