Job Description - Contact Center Specialist

Job Description:


Aetna is seeking a Contact Center Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This position is part-time and entry-level, making it perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the healthcare industry. As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to members and healthcare providers, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about Aetna's products and services.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer inbound calls and respond to emails from members and healthcare providers. 2. Provide accurate information about Aetna's plans, policies, and procedures. 3. Resolve member and provider issues in a timely and efficient manner. 4. Document all interactions in the company's database. 5. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues. 6. Meet or exceed performance targets and quality standards. 7. Stay up-to-date on healthcare trends and changes in Aetna's offerings. 8. Provide support to other team members as needed.


Requirements: 1. Reliable and motivated individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service. 2. Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills. 3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 4. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. High school diploma or equivalent. 7. Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required.
