Customer Care Associate

Job Description:

Univar, a leading distributor of industrial and specialty chemicals, is seeking a part-time Customer Care Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate Level position, we require at least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions - Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate problems when necessary - Process orders, track shipments, and update clients on order statuses - Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Assist with product inquiries and provide technical support as needed

Requirements: - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset - Motivated and independent, able to work effectively with minimal supervision - Emotional intelligence to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy - Persuasion skills to upsell products and services to customers - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
