Job Description - Remote Customer Care Specialist

Job Description: Carleton University is seeking a dedicated Remote Customer Care Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, adaptable, possess strong persuasion and planning skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer care.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. 2. Assist with resolving inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. 3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer concerns. 4. Document and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Continuously strive to meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals. 6. Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience. 7. Stay up to date on university policies, procedures, and offerings to provide accurate information to customers.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 6. Availability to work flexible hours as needed. 7. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
