Customer Service Assistant

Job Description:

American Electric Power is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, driven, and possess excellent problem-solving and persuasion skills. This part-time Associate level position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions - Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as needed - Assist with account management and billing inquiries - Process orders, returns, and refunds accurately and efficiently - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards at all times - Stay current on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other customer service software - Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly
