Job Description - Customer Support Officer

Job Description:


We are seeking a driven and dedicated Customer Support Officer to join our team at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in Montreal, Quebec. As an Associate Level position, we require at least 3 years of relevant experience in customer support. The ideal candidate will possess strong people management and strategic planning skills to effectively handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner - Assist customers with policy information, claims processing, and other insurance-related inquiries - Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and provide accurate information - Maintain customer records and update databases with new information - Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience - Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration


Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer support or a related field - Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage customer relationships - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Relevant certifications or qualifications in customer service are a plus - Visa sponsorship provided for qualified candidates
