Job Description - Customer Support Specialist

Job Description:


New York Life Insurance Company is seeking a part-time Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. This position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role.


Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer support through various channels including phone, email, and chat - Assist customers with inquiries, issue resolution, policy information, and general support - Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in the company database - Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner - Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention


Requirements: - Reliable and motivated individual with strong decision-making skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software - Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus
