Job Description - Customer Support Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:


Avnet is seeking a motivated and independent Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in customer support or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. 2. Assist customers with product information, troubleshooting, and order processing. 3. Resolve customer issues or complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction. 4. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex customer cases. 5. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system. 6. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services to customers. 7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer support process.


Requirements: 1. Proven experience in customer support or a related field. 2. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 3. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 4. Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work. 5. Negotiation skills and critical thinking abilities. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
