Job Description:
Voya Financial is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Live Chat Assistant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a Live Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat communication channels. This part-time position is ideal for individuals with a resourceful and independent nature, who possess strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide support through live chat channels - Assist customers with account issues, product information, and general inquiries - Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department - Provide guidance and recommendations to customers on products and services - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and policies - Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in using online chat platforms and other digital communication tools - High school diploma or equivalent required - Must be eligible to work in Canada
