Job Description - Live Chat Manager

Job Description:


Seaboard is seeking a dedicated and confident Live Chat Manager to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a part-time Associate Level role, the Live Chat Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the live chat function for our company.


Responsibilities: 1. Managing and leading a team of live chat agents to provide excellent customer service and support. 2. Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the live chat function. 3. Monitoring live chat interactions to ensure quality and consistency. 4. Training and onboarding new live chat agents. 5. Analyzing data and metrics to measure the performance of the live chat function and identify areas for improvement. 6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels. 7. Handling escalated customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. 8. Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in live chat management.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 3. Strong emotional intelligence and adaptability. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and live chat software. 7. Experience managing a team is a plus.
