Live Chat Officer

Job Description:

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Vancouver, British Columbia is seeking a part-time Live Chat Officer to join our team. This entry-level position will require at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, resourceful, possess emotional intelligence, and have strong strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions via live chat in a timely and professional manner - Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer service - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services - Work closely with the sales team to generate leads and drive sales through live chat - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries - Assist with any other related duties as needed

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a live chat setting - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in computer skills and technology - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Dedication to providing excellent customer service - Resourcefulness in problem-solving - Emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with customers - Strategic planning skills to anticipate customer needs and provide solutions proactively
