Job Description - Live Chat Officer

Job Description:


MetLife is seeking a passionate and adaptable Live Chat Officer to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Live Chat Officer will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through live chat interactions with clients. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 2 years of experience.


Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers in real-time through live chat to answer inquiries, provide information, and assist with problem-solving. 2. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while responding to customer queries. 3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and customer support. 4. Document customer interactions and feedback for continuous improvement of service quality. 5. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to effectively address customer concerns. 6. Adhere to company guidelines and procedures for live chat interactions.


Requirements: 1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 2. Strong cooperation and teamwork abilities. 3. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively. 4. Previous experience in customer service or a similar role preferred. 5. Proficiency in using live chat software and other relevant tools. 6. Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
