Job Description:
Eversource Energy, a leading energy company in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a reliable and resilient Live Chat Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level Live Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through our online chat platform.
Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers in real-time through live chat to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support. 2. Assist customers with account inquiries, billing questions, service requests, and technical support. 3. Utilize creative problem-solving skills to quickly and efficiently respond to customer queries. 4. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Document interactions and follow up on customer issues as needed. 6. Stay current on product updates, service offerings, and industry trends to effectively assist customers. 7. Meet and exceed performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates. 8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience. 2. Strong written communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. 3. Proficiency in using chat technology and customer service software. 4. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Creativity in problem-solving and a customer-focused mindset. 6. Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred. 7. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
