Job Description - Online Call Center Manager


Job Description:


Steel Dynamics in Vancouver, British Columbia is seeking a part-time Online Call Center Manager with at least 8 years of experience at a mid-to-senior level. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, possess excellent research skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with a team.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the online call center. 2. Lead a team of customer service representatives, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. 3. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the call center. 4. Monitor and analyze call center performance metrics, making adjustments as needed to meet goals. 5. Conduct regular training sessions for call center staff on best practices and new technologies. 6. Handle escalated customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner. 7. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall customer experience. 8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continually improve call center operations.


Requirements: 1. 8+ years of experience in a call center environment at a mid-to-senior level. 2. Strong leadership and communication skills. 3. Excellent problem-solving abilities. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and call center software. 6. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
