Online Chat Support Assistant

Job Description:

GameStop is seeking a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team as an Online Chat Support Assistant in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or online support.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide online chat support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. 2. Conduct research to find solutions and answers to customer questions, ensuring accurate and helpful responses. 3. Utilize persuasive communication skills to guide customers through product information, promotions, and sales opportunities. 4. Collaborate with team members to optimize the online chat support system and improve overall customer experience. 5. Assist with additional customer service tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 2. Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 4. Proficiency in using online chat support platforms and customer service software. 5. Demonstrated research skills and the ability to think critically. 6. Persuasive communication skills to engage and assist customers effectively.
