Job Description - Online Chat Support Manager

Job Description:


Southern is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Online Chat Support Manager to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This part-time position is at a mid-to-senior level, requiring a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in customer service and online support.


As the Online Chat Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the online chat support team, ensuring timely and high-quality responses to customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring chat performance metrics, implementing improvements to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction, and providing ongoing training and development for the team.


Responsibilities: - Manage and lead the online chat support team, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed - Monitor chat performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the online chat support team - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels - Provide timely responses and resolutions to escalated customer inquiries - Stay current on industry trends and best practices in online chat support


Requirements: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in customer service and online support - Strong leadership and communication skills - Resilient and passionate personality traits - Demonstrated ability to cooperate and work well within a team - Knowledge of online chat platforms and customer service software - Ability to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity
