Job Description:
Group 1 Automotive is seeking a dedicated and motivated Online Live Chat Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in customer service or online chat support. The Online Live Chat Specialist will be responsible for managing live chat interactions with customers through our website, providing excellent customer service and support, and driving sales through online channels.
Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time through our website's live chat feature - Provide product information, support, and assistance to customers - Drive sales by proactively engaging with customers and offering solutions to their needs - Assist customers with troubleshooting technical issues with our website or products - Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless online shopping experience - Develop innovative strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the live chat function - Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy - Meet and exceed individual and team performance metrics for response time, customer satisfaction, and sales conversion - Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide the best possible service to customers
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 4 years of experience in customer service or online chat support - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement - Proficiency in online chat platforms and CRM systems - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
