Job Description - Online Support Assistant

Job Description:


Shopify is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Online Support Assistant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or technical support. The ideal candidate will possess the following personality traits: resourceful and independent, as well as demonstrate strong soft skills in teamwork and emotional intelligence.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and chat 2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Shopify's online platform 3. Assist customers with order processing, account management, and navigation of the website 4. Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex customer issues 5. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or technical support 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 3. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 4. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively 5. Proficiency in using computer systems and online tools 6. Prior experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
