Job Description - Online Support Associate

Job Description:


Harman International Industries is seeking a dedicated and passionate Online Support Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As an Associate Level position, the Online Support Associate will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and technical support for our online platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role, with strong critical thinking skills and emotional intelligence.


Responsibilities: 1. Responding to customer inquiries and technical issues through email, chat, and phone 2. Troubleshooting technical problems with online platforms and escalating issues as needed 3. Providing guidance and support to customers on how to use our online services effectively 4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently 5. Documenting customer interactions and feedback to improve online support processes 6. Staying up-to-date on product updates and changes to provide accurate information to customers 7. Contributing to team meetings and training sessions to improve overall customer support performance


Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in customer service or technical support 2. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment 5. Emotional intelligence and ability to effectively handle difficult customer interactions 6. Knowledge of online platforms and troubleshooting techniques 7. Availability to work part-time hours, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
