Online Web Chat Representative

Job Description:

Symantec is seeking a reliable and passionate Online Web Chat Representative to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Associate Level representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients via online web chat. This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time through online web chat to address their inquiries, provide support, and resolve any issues they may encounter. - Demonstrate strong decision-making skills to effectively assist customers and provide solutions to their problems. - Utilize creativity to come up with innovative ways to enhance the customer experience and improve overall satisfaction. - Ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries, meeting or exceeding established service levels. - Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company in all interactions with customers. - Keep detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and follow up as needed.

Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in customer service or a related field. - Reliable and passionate about providing excellent customer service. - Strong decision-making skills and the ability to think creatively to solve problems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple chat sessions simultaneously. - Proficiency in using online chat software and other customer service tools. - High school diploma or equivalent required.
