Job Description: We are looking for a Support Manager to join our team at Symantec in Vancouver, British Columbia, CA. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of support specialists to provide exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the support team, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient resolution of customer issues.
Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of support specialists to deliver high-quality customer service and technical support - Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary - Develop and implement support processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues and provide timely solutions to customers - Analyze support metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement - Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development - Represent the support team in meetings with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure alignment on support priorities - Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the support team's processes and capabilities
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - 6+ years of experience in technical support or customer service - Proven experience in managing a support team in a fast-paced environment - Strong leadership and communication skills - Resourceful and driven personality traits - Adaptability and critical thinking soft skills - Experience with support ticketing systems and CRM software - Ability to analyze data and identify patterns to drive improvement - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of cybersecurity or IT industry is a plus
