Job Description - Support Manager

Community Health Systems in Vancouver, British Columbia is seeking a part-time Support Manager to join our team at a mid-to-senior level. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the support team, ensuring that all staff members are performing their duties efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities: 1. Supervise and manage a team of support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations 2. Develop and implement support policies and procedures 3. Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff members 4. Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas for improvement 5. Handle escalated support issues and ensure timely resolution 6. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall customer support experience 7. Continuously look for ways to streamline processes and increase efficiency 8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer support


Requirements: 1. 8 years of experience in a customer support role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position 2. Energetic and independent personality traits 3. Strong teamwork and creativity skills 4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills 5. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment 6. Experience with customer support software and tools 7. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
