Job Description:
Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking a dedicated and reliable Remote Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities: -Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance through web chat in a timely and professional manner -Assist customers with navigating the company website, accessing account information, and making policy changes -Provide information on insurance products and services, as well as policy coverage details -Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency -Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for further assistance -Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions -Meet and exceed performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and quality of service
Requirements: -Demonstrated experience in customer service, preferably in a web chat or online support role -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -Strong decision-making abilities and leadership qualities -Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment -Proficiency in using web chat platforms and basic computer skills -Flexible schedule with the availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
