Remote Web Chat Manager

Job Description:

National Oilwell Varco is seeking a Remote Web Chat Manager to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, on a part-time basis. As a Mid-to-Senior Level candidate with at least 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing our web chat system to provide exceptional customer service and support to our online users.

Responsibilities: 1. Monitor and respond to incoming web chat inquiries promptly and professionally. 2. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing accurate and helpful information to online users. 3. Manage a team of remote chat agents, providing guidance and support as needed. 4. Analyze chat interactions to identify trends and make suggestions for improving customer experience. 5. Collaborate with other departments to address technical issues and escalate complex inquiries. 6. Develop and implement best practices for web chat communication. 7. Maintain a log of chat interactions for future reference and reporting purposes. 8. Continuously improve and optimize the web chat system to enhance user experience.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. 3. Previous experience in managing web chat systems is preferred. 4. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Persuasive and empathetic communication skills to handle challenging customer interactions. 6. Knowledge of customer service best practices and a passion for delivering exceptional service. 7. Hardworking and energetic personality traits to handle a high volume of web chat inquiries effectively. 8. Familiarity with CRM software and other customer support tools. 9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 10. Comfortable working remotely and managing a team of remote chat agents.
