Remote Web Chat Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Remote Web Chat Manager to join our team at Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As a Remote Web Chat Manager, you will be responsible for managing our online customer service chat platform, ensuring prompt and helpful responses to customer inquiries. This is a part-time position with a mid-to-senior level of seniority and requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the web chat platform, ensuring all customer inquiries are responded to in a timely and helpful manner - Train and supervise a team of remote chat agents, providing guidance and support as needed - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by consistently meeting response time and quality metrics - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to chat agents to improve performance - Implement strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the web chat platform - Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues that require escalation - Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in online customer service

Requirements: - 6 years of experience in a similar role - Resilient and hardworking personality traits - Strong people management and research skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with customer service software and chat platforms - Ability to work independently and remotely - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
