Job Description - Remote Web Chat Manager

Job Description:


FirstEnergy is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Remote Web Chat Manager to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 8 years of experience in web chat management, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our remote web chat operations.


Responsibilities: - Lead a team of remote web chat agents to provide excellent customer service and support - Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of web chat operations - Monitor and track key performance indicators to assess and improve team performance - Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed - Collaborate with other departments to optimize web chat processes and workflows - Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to continually improve web chat services - Drive initiatives to exceed customer expectations and deliver delight through web chat interactions


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - 8+ years of experience in web chat management - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Creativity and emotional intelligence to effectively engage with customers - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in web chat software and tools - Experience in leading remote teams - Experience in the customer service industry is a plus
