Web Chat Manager

Job Description:

As the Web Chat Manager at Darden Restaurants located in Vancouver, British Columbia, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's web chat operations. This is a part-time position at a mid-to-senior level, requiring at least 8 years of relevant experience in customer service and online communication.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the web chat platform for better customer engagement and satisfaction. 2. Manage a team of web chat representatives, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. 3. Monitor chat interactions to ensure quality and adherence to company policies and standards. 4. Analyze chat data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. 5. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and provide timely resolutions. 6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance the web chat experience. 7. Handle escalated customer issues and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. 8. Develop KPIs and goals for the web chat team and track progress towards achieving them.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 2. Proven experience in managing web chat operations, preferably in the food service industry. 3. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team. 4. Proficiency in web chat platforms, CRM software, and data analysis tools. 5. Confident and resourceful personality traits. 6. Strong planning and analysis skills. 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 8. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
