Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time Web Chat Officer to join our team at Edison International in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a Web Chat Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through online chat support on our website. This role is critical in ensuring that our customers have a positive experience while interacting with our company online.
Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and concerns through online chat in a timely and professional manner - Provide accurate information about our products and services - Assist customers with technical issues they may encounter on our website - Escalate any issues or concerns to the appropriate department for resolution - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional communication skills - Keep track of chat interactions and update customer profiles as needed - Collaborate with other team members to improve chat support processes and procedures
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience - 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Resourceful and energetic personality traits - Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail - Excellent written communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in using online chat platforms and software - Ability to thrive in an environment that embraces and navigates change seamlessly
