Job Description:
Nucor, a leading company in the steel and metals industry, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Support Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a remote work position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a mid-to-senior level of seniority and a requirement of at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities: - Manage a team of remote support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations - Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the support team - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of support services - Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement - Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely and satisfactory resolutions - Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of support staff - Stay up to date on industry best practices and implement them within the support team - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where teamwork and respect are paramount
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field - Proven experience in a support management role, with a track record of success - Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy - Excellent research skills to gather information and make informed decisions - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail
