Job Description:
State Street Corp. is seeking a Web Chat Manager to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. This position is a part-time role with a mid-to-senior level of seniority, requiring at least 7 years of experience in a related field. The Web Chat Manager will be responsible for managing the web chat team and ensuring the smooth operation of our online chat platform.
Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the web chat team, setting goals and providing guidance - Develop and implement strategies to improve the web chat platform and enhance customer experience - Monitor chat performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of chat services with other customer support channels - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management - Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement necessary updates - Train and mentor chat agents to ensure high-quality service delivery - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members - Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - Proven experience in web chat management - Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team - Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work remotely and manage a team effectively - Passion for delivering exceptional customer service - Proficiency in chat management software and customer support tools
