Functionally reports to the Restaurant Manager. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu
• Informs guests of specials, and menu changes, and answers questions regarding food, beverages, and allergies
• Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
• Communicate with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff, and bartenders to coordinate stations
• Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests
• Assists table support team with stocking workstations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware
• Assists with the cash register at counter-service restaurants
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications
• Service focused personality is essential • Previous fine dining or luxury level service knowledge and training. • Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a world-class luxury brand in a similar capacity. • Current Smart Serve certification. • Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality-driven • Excellent communication skills • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs • Constant walking & standing • Frequent lifting, crouching/bending/stooping/kneeling All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in Canada.
